A Swag Up Rebate is a bonus you might receive when you spend time on Swagbucks.
If you hang out and earn on the Swagbucks website for any length of time you’ll be exposed to some interesting terminology.
One term the folks at Swagbucks invented was Swag Ups. A Swag Up is a type of bonus you might receive; as a registered member of the site, if you have a birthday, participate in team challenge or play your cards right – in some other way.
The difference between Swagbucks and Swag Ups are:
1-Swagbucks are automatically credited to your account when you complete certain offers.
2-Swag Ups are dormant in your account until after you redeem at least 300 Swagbucks. That’s when they convert to points called SB. It is possible to redeem 300 SB for a $3 gift card.
Let’s assume you participate in a team challenge and your team is the winner. Everyone on your team receives 100 Swag Ups.
Within a few days – after the team challenge is over you can check your Swagbucks account. Click on the Swag Ups link.
You should see 100 Swag Ups, the date your Swag Ups expire and the reason you received them. You also want to “activate” your Swag Ups.
Now, it’s your responsibility to CLAIM your Swag Ups. All you have to do is redeem at least 300 Swagbucks BEFORE the expiration date to convert your 100 Swag Ups to 100 SB. Make sure you check your account to see that the Swag Ups are there BEFORE redeeming Swagbucks.
After you’ve done it once – you’ll see that it’s a piece of cake.
